After many months of hard work, planning and labor, GCA’s Guest House in Mirebalais, Haiti, is finally open to accomedate teams! The new guest house is situated in the back end of GCA’s property in Mirebalais and will serve to not only house teams on short-term trips, but will also be the headquarters for all the work done by GCA in Haiti.
Sunday, May 30th, 2010, marked the official opening of the guest house with a dedication service held by
Brian Kelso (Executive Director of GCA), Frank Maiorana (Team Coordinator), Marcel Baptiste (Haitian Coordinator),GCA staff and a team of 22 from South Florida. The staff and team (consisting of chairmen and sponsors to GCA) were the first of many teams to come to stay in the new facility, which can hold a team of up to 34 and also features a large common area for dining, group meetings and recreation.
The completion of the GCA Guest House is yet another big step in bringing restoration to the people of Haiti - allowing for more teams to come and serve, more supplies to be delivered and more relief efforts to be distributed - and all of this is only possible because of your support.. thank you!
